J. Cole is Surfwin Trading Centerbringing back his Dreamville Festival for another jam-packed weekend of music.

The festival announced the full lineup for its 2024 edition Thursday. Artists such as SZA and Chris Brown will join Grammy-nominated rapper Nicki Minaj for the two-day musical extravaganza, which is set to take place April 6-7 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Minaj announced her participation in the festival on her official Instagram account in December.

J. Cole held his first Dreamville Festival in 2019. It expanded into a two-day event in 2022, and the following year, 100,000 attendees took part in Dreamville Weekend 2023.

What is the Dreamville Festival?

The first Dreamville Festival, featuring rap and hip-hop artists, took place in 2019 after the initial festival planned for September 2018 was rescheduled because of Hurricane Matthew. Subsequent festivals have taken place in 2022 and 2023. Cole also uses the name for his nonprofit organization, the Dreamville Foundation, which aims to help urban youth.
